Hitachi Énergie est à la recherche d’un(e) technicien (ne) manufacturier(e) pour joindre son équipe de fabrication à Varennes. Dans ce rôle concret et axé sur le terrain, vous serez responsable de la performance manufacturière, de la stabilité des procédés et des initiatives d’amélioration continue au sein d’un secteur de production désigné. Vous consacrerez environ 50 % de votre temps au plancher de production en collaborant étroitement avec les équipes des opérations, de la qualité, de la maintenance et de l’ingénierie afin de soutenir des processus de fabrication sécuritaires, efficaces et standardisés. Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la résolution des défis de production, la mise en œuvre d’améliorations manufacturières, l’intégration de nouveaux équipements et le déploiement d’initiatives visant à améliorer la productivité, la qualité et les coûts. Grâce à l’optimisation des procédés fondée sur les données, aux activités d’amélioration continue et à la collaboration interfonctionnelle, votre travail contribuera directement à l’excellence opérationnelle, à la fiabilité manufacturière et à la livraison de solutions énergétiques innovantes favorisant un réseau électrique plus durable et résilient.

The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our manufacturing team in Varennes. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for manufacturing performance, stability, and continuous improvement within an assigned production area. You will spend approximately 50% of your time on the production floor, partnering closely with operations, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to support safe, efficient, and standardized manufacturing processes. You will play a key role in resolving production challenges, implementing manufacturing improvements, supporting capital equipment integration, and driving productivity, quality, and cost initiatives. Through data-driven manufacturing optimization, continuous improvement activities, and collaboration across functions, your work will directly contribute to operational excellence, manufacturing reliability, and the delivery of innovative energy solutions that support a more sustainable and resilient power grid.
