Structural Modeller/Designer | Adelaide, SA | Major Defence & Buildings Projects

Join KBR's growing Buildings & Infrastructure team and play a key role in delivering innovative structural design solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.

We're seeking a Structural Designer with experience in structural drafting and modelling to support the delivery of high-quality structural documentation from concept design through to construction. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and designers while continuing to develop your technical capabilities within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Opportunity:

As a Structural Designer, you'll contribute to a broad range of building and infrastructure projects, producing accurate 2D documentation and 3D models while working closely with engineers, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams. You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle and play an important role in delivering quality outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing structural drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
• Developing and maintaining 3D structural models
• Assisting with project delivery from concept through to construction
• Supporting the preparation of tender documentation and documentation estimates
• Coordinating with architects, contractors and service consultants
• Participating in project meetings and implementing agreed actions
• Ensuring quality, accuracy and compliance across deliverables
• Collaborating with engineers and senior designers to achieve project outcomes.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience as a Structural Designer, Structural Drafter or similar role
• Strong capability in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience documenting structural steel and reinforced concrete structures
• Understanding of structural design and engineering documentation processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary team.

Due to the nature of our defence projects, Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance is required.
