General Participants: Paid Video Recording Study

WHAT WE'RE RESEARCHING

We are running a paid study on video capture quality and on-camera user engagement. This research feeds directly into the development of new media capture features. We need participants to provide sample recordings to help us evaluate how different environments and lighting affect video output.

HOW IT WORKS

You will use your own smartphone or webcam to record a series of short videos from your home. We will provide a specific set of prompts and brief scripts for you to read on camera. After recording, you will upload the files to our secure platform for review. The entire process takes just a few minutes and can be completed asynchronously.

WHO THIS IS FOR

We welcome adults of all backgrounds and professions to participate in this collection effort. You need a device capable of recording clear video and audio, along with a quiet, well-lit space. No prior acting or professional video experience is required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Set up a quiet, well-lit space for recording video.

- Read provided scripts and answer short prompts on camera.

- Review your recordings to ensure clear audio and video quality.

- Upload the completed video files to our secure platform.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

- Access to a smartphone or computer with a high-quality camera.

- Comfortable recording yourself on video and sharing the footage.
