General Accountant

The General Accountant will support our daily accounting operations, assist with accounts payable and receivable, tax filings, financial reporting, and month-end closing while working closely with the Chief Accountant.

What You'll Do

• You will perform daily accounting data entry.
• You will be responsible for managing suppliers' accounts payable and receivable to enhance profit management efficiency.
• You will prepare and verify payments against supporting documents to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• You will reconcile a variety of accounts as requested.
• You will prepare monthly tax declarations and coordinate with tax authorities.
• You will assist the Chief Accountant with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, and provide timely financial information and reports as required.
• You will perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Accountant.

What We're Looking For

• You have experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
• You have experience auditing manufacturing companies.
• You have experience analyzing complex financial data.
• You have experience identifying and implementing process or technology improvements within a finance environment.
• You have a solid understanding of local and US GAAP accounting standards.
• You have good knowledge of accounting and taxation.
• You have knowledge of information technology and information systems concepts.
• You have an understanding of internal audit principles.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access, and SAP.
• You are self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• You can effectively provide accounting support and advice to key stakeholders.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and collaborate effectively with offshore team members.
