Why This Role Matters

As an NPI and Equipment Engineer, you'll play a key role in managing the NPI and Equipment processes in our İzmit plant. This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience in these processes in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform all aspects of new product industrialization activities for plant according to procedures.
• Make detailed feasibility and impact studies for new projects, share findings with related teams to be an input for PFMEA and MRM studies.
• Implement material specification changes and ensure all the specifications are up to date and ready for each required process.
• Develop process and innovation solutions to improve robustness of tire.
• Reduce complexity of components and tires by standardization approach in accordance with Goodyear requirements.
• Take necessary actions for possible items seen on cut tire analysis and any issue faced on tires during production monitoring tests.
• Develop and maintain equipment safety, quality, orders, and inventory checks.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, or relevant engineering fields.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in tire industry background is an asset.
• Good knowledge in MS Office is an asset.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Collaborative and team-oriented temperament.
