Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Own the quality assurance tasks for multiple projects, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability

- Actively participate in design and requirements reviews to ensure testability and usability of features and products

- Lead testing efforts, including developing and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts

- Plan, implement and execute testing tasks in different product areas - DB, integration, functional, UI/UX

- Analyse test results to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes as needed

- Provide technical and process mentorship to less experienced colleagues

- Work in compact, autonomous teams with short release cycles - we rely on agile, independent teams of sharp and driven people with just the right amount of processes to steer off anarchy and not sacrifice velocity

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing

- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools

- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript, Java, etc.)

- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, TestNG, etc.)

- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar

- Strong RDBMS knowledge

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- A very good command of English and excellent communication skills

- Passion for quality assurance

NICE TO HAVE

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field

- Experience with testing microservices and distributed systems

- Experience in testing mobile applications

- Experience with NoSQL DB

- Experience with Event Stream Processing platforms
