Space is a warfighting domain. True Anomaly seeks those with the talent and ambition to build the technology that secures it.
OUR MISSION
True Anomaly delivers decisive capabilities for space superiority. We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors — enabling the U.S. and its Allies to secure the space environment and counter threats from the ultimate high ground.
OUR VALUES
- Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity.
- What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results.
- It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.
YOUR MISSION
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Assembly Integration & Test Technician to support mechanical assembly, integration, and environmental test operations for component and system level hardware. This role is split between hands on mechanical integration, installing mechanical components, building sub-assemblies, and supporting build activities, and environmental test operations, including component-level and thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience across mechanical build/integration and test, with strong hands-on experience maintaining vibration (vibe) tables and TVAC chambers.
Key Responsibilities • Mechanical Integration & Assembly • Install mechanical components and build sub-assemblies per engineering drawings, work instructions, and travelers • Perform mechanical assembly, integration, and disassembly of components, subsystems, and system-level hardware • Fabricate, install, and align test fixtures and ground support equipment (GSE) • Support build activities during down time between test campaigns, including fit checks, hardware prep, and staging • Work closely with engineering to resolve fit, tolerance, or build issues during integration
Test Operations & Facility Support • Set up, operate, and support component level environmental testing, including vibration, shock, and thermal vacuum (TVAC) testing • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration support, and troubleshooting on vibration tables/shakers and TVAC chambers • Install and connect test instrumentation (accelerometers, thermocouples, etc.) and support data acquisition setup • Support facility upkeep, including LN2/GN2 systems, vacuum pumps, and chamber controllers • Troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve hardware/test anomalies during live test operations
Other • Follow and help refine procedures, travelers, and work instructions, document results, anomalies, and non-conformances • Maintain calibration records and equipment logs for test facility compliance • Mentor junior technicians on assembly, integration, and test practices • Adhere to cleanroom protocols, ESD handling requirements, and safety procedures at all times
