CORE JOB SUMMARY
The Co-Medical Director of the Tamer Institute for Women’s Health provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for a comprehensive women’s health program at the University of Miami Health System. The Co-Medical Director is responsible for advancing an integrated, patient-centered model of care that addresses the unique health needs of women from adolescence onwards, including preventive care, reproductive health, menopause and perimenopause management, and healthy aging. The Co-Medical Director will guide the Tamer Institute for Women’s Health in providing seamless care tailored to each phase of life, and redefining women’s healthcare in South Florida by creating a first in kind model that combines clinical excellence, research innovation, education, and holistic personalized care.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of UHealth, and responsible to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, the Co-Medical Director will champion clinical excellence, innovation, quality improvement, interdisciplinary collaboration, research, education, and community engagement while supporting the Institute’s mission to become a nationally recognized destination for comprehensive women’s healthcare.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
MD or DO from an accredited institution.
Certification and Licensing:
Active Florida MD or DO license with board certification in a recognized medical specialty, except for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in leading clinical strategy in an academic medical center or other clinical enterprise.
