The Diagnostic Lead Tech will oversee the daily workflow of the diagnostic area of the Radiology department for the respective shift. The Diagnostic Lead Tech has a thorough knowledge and proficiency in the skills of the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist. The Diagnostic Lead Tech supports and contributes to the department and hospital objectives by assisting the Administrative Director, Operations Manager, and Diagnostic Coordinator by giving guidance and instruction to employees supervised.
The Diagnostic Lead Tech acts as liaison between the department and all ULH customers. The Diagnostic Lead Tech complies with and enforces established policy and procedure of the department and hospital as well as requirements of accrediting bodies.
