Project Manager

Uprite Construction is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Irvine team. This role is responsible for leading commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, with a strong focus on schedule, budget, quality, client relationships, and overall project execution.

The ideal candidate has direct experience managing tilt up construction projects and understands the planning, coordination, and field execution that goes into successfully delivering this type of work. Experience with cold storage, food and beverage, distribution, industrial, or other technically complex facilities is a strong plus.

What You’ll Do

• Manage projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout

• Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, change management, and overall financial performance

• Coordinate closely with superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, design teams, consultants, owners, and internal leadership

• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders

• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, contracts, and change orders

• Manage subcontractor scopes, buyout, procurement, and performance

• Identify project risks early and work with the team to develop solutions before they impact cost or schedule

• Monitor project costs, forecasts, commitments, billings, and overall financial performance

• Partner closely with field leadership to maintain project schedules and resolve construction challenges

• Ensure projects meet Uprite’s expectations for safety, quality, schedule, and client service

• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, design partners, and internal teams

• Support project closeout, punch list completion, turnover, and final documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Direct project management experience with commercial tilt up construction is required

• Experience managing projects for a commercial general contractor

• Strong understanding of tilt up construction methods, sequencing, structural coordination, site logistics, and project execution

• Experience with cold storage or temperature controlled facilities is a plus

• Experience with industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, food and beverage, or similar commercial projects is also valuable

• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, budgets, and cost controls

• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades throughout the construction process

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to project details

• Strong communication and relationship building skills

• Comfortable working closely with both field and office teams

• Proficiency with construction management and scheduling technology
