The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Production Maintenance Technician II to help keep our manufacturing equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.

In this role, you’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair complex production equipment, assist with equipment modifications and relocations, and help develop other members of the maintenance team.

What You’ll Do

• Put safety first by following all required procedures, including lockout/tagout, confined space, and fall protection.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Diagnose issues involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Repair or replace defective components, parts, and systems.
• Use welding machines, machining equipment, multimeters, power tools, and other maintenance equipment.
• Operate medium- to heavy-duty equipment, including personnel and material lifts.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Assist with equipment modifications, installations, and relocations.
• Document repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Partner with production, engineering, contractors, and other maintenance team members to resolve equipment issues.
• Work independently while effectively managing time, resources, and priorities.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I employees and help develop their trade skills.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Training

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance.

Experience

• 10+ years of maintenance mechanic experience, preferably at the journeyman level.
• Strong experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience using common hand and power tools.
• Experience with fabrication equipment and methods, including saws, lathes, mills, and welders.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Proficiency reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery.
• Ability to coordinate contractors, supplies, equipment, and other resources for project execution.
• Ability to train and mentor others in maintenance skills and equipment operation.
• Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and maintenance documentation.
• Strong communication, teamwork, dependability, and critical-thinking skills.

Work Environment

This position works in an active manufacturing environment where employees may be exposed to machinery, varying temperatures, production dust, and elevated noise levels.

Team members frequently work around equipment with moving parts and are expected to follow established safety procedures at all times.

Our manufacturing operations may require overtime and weekend work based on production needs.
