Position Summary...

The Director, Strategic Execution brings structure and clarity to complex business challenges, leveraging data and insights to identify opportunities, surface risks, and enable effective decision-making. This leader drives key leadership forums, business reviews, executive communications, and organizational priorities while ensuring clear ownership and accountability for outcomes. The Director leads high-priority, cross-functional strategic initiatives from problem definition through execution, mobilizing stakeholders and establishing alignment across teams. Acting as a connector across the organization, this role anticipates needs, removes barriers, resolves dependencies, and ensures teams remain focused on the highest-priority business outcomes while accelerating execution against strategic objectives.

What you'll do...

About the team: The Walmart Marketplace Seller Risk team plays a critical role in safeguarding the platform by proactively managing risks associated with sellers. This team prevents unauthorized actors from entering the ecosystem and continuously monitors seller activities to uphold a secure and high-quality marketplace. Collaborating across functions, the team drives strategic initiatives that enhance operational excellence and protect customer and brand trust. Members leverage data insights, stakeholder engagement, and process improvements to support sustainable growth and maintain Walmart Marketplace’s reputation as a trusted e-commerce destination.

What you'll do:

Partner with senior leadership to translate strategy into priorities, executable plans, and measurable outcomes. Lead strategic planning, operating rhythms, business reviews, and performance management across the organization. Drive high-priority, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through execution, ensuring alignment and accountability. Use data and insights to identify opportunities, surface risks, evaluate tradeoffs, and inform decisions. Develop executive communications, business updates, and decision materials that enable action. Partner across Business, Product, Technology, Operations, and Finance to resolve dependencies and accelerate execution. Bring structure to ambiguous challenges and establish scalable operating mechanisms. Connect priorities across leadership, ensuring focus on the highest-impact business outcomes.

Sunnyvale, California US-11789: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
