Your role:

Responsibilities:

  • End to end ownership of team deliverables and objectives
  • Set technical strategy and engineering best practices in collaboration with senior engineers
  • Provide active career development and technical guidance to engineers
  • Hiring, team building, and performance management
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful project management

About you:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
  • You’re a passionate engineering leader, with at least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams of 5-10+ software and data engineers
  • You are hands on leader who writes code, conducts code reviews, and is involved in architectural design and strategy work
  • You have a deep knowledge of AWS or other large cloud computing environment
  • You communicate effectively and have a proven track record of effective hiring and team building
  • You thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced, evolving environments
  • You’re an empathetic leader who builds strong teams
