The Logistics Team Lead is a hands-on role that supports daily operations within the Dispensing and Materials departments. This position provides informal leadership and guidance to hourly warehouse staff while working alongside the team to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met. The Team Lead helps prioritize workflow, implementing lean practices, coaching peers, supporting training, and serves as a point of contact on the floor escalating issues to supervisors or managers as needed.

Location: Swedesboro, NJ (Onsite) Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Compensation: $25- $29.00. Placement within the range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and other business-related factors.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide on-the-floor leadership to warehouse staff in the Dispensing and Materials departments.
- Lead by example and participate in daily operations including picking, packing, shipping, and material delivery as needed.
- Monitor team performance to ensure standards for safety, quality, and productivity are consistently achieved.
- Support inventory management, including ordering, restocking, and adjustments to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and the planning team to align staffing and operational schedules.
- Conduct departmental meetings and lead daily huddles to communicate priorities and updates.
- Facilitate the training and development of new team members and backups in the CDS process.
- Assist with unloading materials using appropriate handling equipment or by hand.
- Troubleshoot operational or equipment issues and escalate complex concerns to supervisors or managers.
- Ensure timely generation and collation of packing slips for customer sales orders.
- Support effective coordination with third-party shipping services.
- Maintain flexibility in work schedule, including overtime and weekend rotations as required.
- Serve as a resource for questions and support during shift operations, escalating employee or process concerns as appropriate.
- Participate in special projects or other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor
- Promote and support Wedgewood Pharmacy’s operational excellence and customer service goals.
- Serves as a peer resource and role model on the production floor
- Provides informal guidance and training to team members
- Supports the team in meeting daily goals by assisting with workflow, verifying order accuracy, and communicating roadblocks to the supervisor.
- Helps onboard new hires by demonstrating standard work and answering questions.
- Identifies improvement opportunities and shares feedback with leadership; does not implement changes independently.
- Leads by example in adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.

- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- 2–4 years of experience in a production or logistics setting.
- 1–3 years of experience in a pick, pack, and ship operation (preferred).
- Prior lead or supervisory experience.
- Experience using Sage MAS500 or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Valid NJ Pharmacy Technician License.
- MAS500, or equivalent, system experience.
