- Coordinate the Work: Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, clients, and internal team members to keep every phase of the project aligned.
- Stay Connected to the Field: Regularly visit active project sites to monitor construction progress, verify quality, solve problems, and coordinate with field crews and subcontractors.
- Support Estimating and Bidding: Assist with construction estimates, quantity takeoffs, pricing, cost analysis, and competitive bids.
- Review Construction Documents: Evaluate blueprints, plans, specifications, scopes of work, proposals, contracts, and other project documentation.
- Use Construction Technology: Work with tools such as Bluebeam, RS Means, RS Means Online, QuickBooks, and Adobe Acrobat for estimating, documentation, cost management, and project coordination.
- Manage Federal Project Requirements: Learn and apply government contract requirements, federal construction procedures, documentation standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Support Military Installation Projects: Coordinate applicable construction work performed at military installations while meeting required site access and eligibility requirements.
