Ziegler Energy Solutions, part of the Ziegler Companies family, is a growing leader in the development, design, integration, and construction of turnkey energy and infrastructure systems, including solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of electrification projects from planning through commissioning and customer acceptance. This role will assist project managers and project teams with scheduling, procurement coordination, documentation, customer communication, and project tracking activities. Projects may include commercial and industrial solar installations, battery energy storage systems, EV charging infrastructure, microgrids, and related energy solutions. This position requires the ability to work on-site at our Monticello, MN location and travel up to 10%.
Responsibilities:
- Support project managers during project planning, estimating, and pre-construction activities.
- Assist with site walkthroughs, documentation, material takeoffs, and subcontractor coordination.
- Maintain project records, files, meeting notes, and project-related documentation.
- Coordinate communication between project teams, customers, subcontractors, utilities, and permitting agencies.
- Assist with developing and updating project schedules using MS Project or similar software.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, procurement activities, and equipment deliveries.
- Coordinate purchase orders, vendor communications, and material shipments.
- Help ensure project materials and equipment align with project requirements and specifications.
- Support project kickoff meetings, safety documentation, subcontractor onboarding, and mobilization activities.
- Monitor project progress and communicate schedule updates, issues, and action items to project stakeholders.
- Assist with change order tracking, contract administration, invoicing, and project reporting.
- Coordinate permitting, inspection, utility, and customer documentation requirements.
- Support commissioning, startup, and project closeout activities.
- Compile project closeout documentation, training materials, and turnover packages.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through documentation of lessons learned and best practices.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to project managers and other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, construction administration, operations support, or project management support strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical construction, renewable energy systems, EV charging infrastructure, or related construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction documentation, scheduling, procurement, and project administration processes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and project management software platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-through abilities.
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, utilities, or customers is preferred.
- Knowledge of permitting and construction processes is preferred.
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
Travel:
- Up to 10% travel required.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required for project meetings, site visits, or commissioning support activities.
- Limited evening or weekend work may be required to support critical project milestones.

The pay range for this position is
$26.85 to $32.21
Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
