Regional Marketing Manager (Single Cell) - EMEA
About the role:
As the Single Cell Regional Marketing Manager on the EMEA Regional Marketing team, you will spearhead the single cell marketing strategy across the region. This high-impact role demands a powerful blend of scientific expertise, strategic marketing acumen, and deep commercial insight into regional markets. You will be a dynamic professional with a proven track record in product and regional marketing ready to drive bold, targeted strategies that resonate with basic researchers, translational scientists, and biopharma innovators alike.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals and the local needs of the EMEA region to achieve and exceed regional business objectives
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the region's single cell research landscape
- Lead the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities for the single cell portfolio, ensuring relevance and impact within EMEA research communities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders: externally with Key Opinion Leaders, researchers, and associations in academia, university hospitals, and biopharma, as well as industry partners; internally with EMEA and global marketing teams, EMEA commercial organization
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing strategies and optimize accordingly
- Advise global marketing on local regulatory and compliance requirements
- Drive demand and grow the marketing funnel in close collaboration with regional sales teams and distributors
- Establish local regional operational processes and systems
- Serve as the key regional marketing point of contact for Single Cell
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Genetics
- Demonstrated marketing experience in the life sciences industry or a related sector, ideally in a product marketing or product management role
- Knowledge of single cell technology, its applications, and customer needs
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and the ability to solve complex problems
- Understanding of the sales pipeline and how to positively impact funnel conversion rates
- Strong organization skills with the ability to meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent English communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) with the ability to tell compelling stories and collaborate across multiple disciplines
- Driven self-started and excellent team player
- Ability to travel as required for success in this field-based role, expected to be at least 60% of the time within the region
Preferred Skills and/or Experience:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or Genetics
- Experience in using a CRM system, ideally Salesforce (SFDC)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with AI tools
