Переводчик обязан: Представление заявителю, выяснение повода и определение характера обращения заявителя. Идентификация языка абонента, если абонент разговаривает на одном из языков народов Дагестана или на иностранном языке. Выполнение перевода устного текста практически одновременно с его произношением. Соблюдать Конституцию Российской Федерации, федеральные законы, иные нормативные правовые акты Российской Федерации, Конституцию, законы и иные нормативные правовые акты Республики Дагестан и обеспечивать их исполнение. Исполнять поручения начальника отдела, начальника смены, в пределах своих полномочий, установленных законодательством Российской Федерации. Исполнять должностные обязанности в соответствии с должностной инструкцией. Соблюдать служебный распорядок Поддерживать уровень квалификации, необходимый для надлежащего исполнения должностных обязанностей. Не разглашать сведения, ставшие ему известными в связи с исполнением должностных обязанностей, в том числе сведения, касающиеся частной жизни и здоровья граждан или затрагивающие их честь и достоинство, не допускать нарушения, которые могут привести к разглашению сведений, составляющих государственную тайну, или утрате документов. Беречь имущество учреждения, в том числе предоставленное ему для исполнения должностных обязанностей. Осуществлять прием и передачу автоматизированное рабочее место в начале и в конце дежурной смены. Проверить комплектность и работоспособность аппаратно-программных и телекоммуникационных средств при приеме и передаче дежурства в начале и в конце дежурной смены.

Иностранный язык на профессиональном уровне. Родной язык на профессиональном уровне. Теория и практика перевода. Экстралингвистическая информация в соответствующей области знаний. Методика использования компьютера и другого инструментария с целью повышения производительности для обеспечения качества переводов. Основные сведения о транспортной инфраструктуре Республики Дагестан. Административно-территориальное деление Республики Дагестан. Названия и расположение основных мест массового пребывания людей, зон отдыха, водных объектов, опасных производственных объектов, расположенных в Республике Дагестан. Основные психологические состояния пострадавших и потерпевших. Этические нормы общения, речевой и деловой этикет.
