Jouw bijdrage aan het avontuur

We staan aan de vooravond van een enorme groeiversnelling en sturen data-gedreven. Als Senior Data Engineer val je onder ons Data Insights team en bouw jij het fundament waarop het hele bedrijf zijn beslissingen neemt: een robuuste Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) en schaalbare datapijplijnen die ruwe signalen omzetten in strategische intelligentie.

Wat bedoelen we dan precies? 🔍

  • Bouwer & Visionair: Je voorziet de schaalbaarheidsbehoeften voor de komende 12-24 maanden, maar trekt vooral hands-on de kar bij het opzetten, coderen en tunen van deze infrastructuur. Jij bepaalt de snelheid en stabiliteit van onze datastromen.
  • Eigenaarschap van Databricks: Je bent de eigenaar en hoofdbouwer van ons dataplatform met Databricks als centrale hub. Je focust op database-architectuur, performance tuning en het optimaliseren van query-executietijden.
  • Integraties & Compliance: Je bouwt core-pijplijnen, richt nieuwe API-integraties in en sluit tools zoals Segment (CDP) naadloos aan voor slimme klantsegmentatie. Hierbij bewaak je een uptime van 99,9% én alle security- en privacy-richtlijnen.
  • Mentorschap & Groei: Je schakelt direct met de Head of Data en fungeert als technische autoriteit die junior en medior engineers via on-the-job support helpt te groei.
  • Fundament voor Opschaling: Midden in onze opschaling lever jij de onverwoestbare basis waar onze analisten op vertrouwen, zodat onze snelle groei beheersbaar en winstgevend blijft.

In ons data team zijn we continu bezig om ons te verrijken met een world-class data foundation en de nieuwste cloudtechnologieën. Wij werken onder andere met:

  • Data Platform & Core Architecture: Databricks als centrale opslag en hub, ingericht volgens de Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
  • Pipeline Engineering & Tuning: Complexe ETL-processen, robuuste pipeline architecturen, API-wrappers en systemen voor geavanceerde performance tuning.
  • Customer Data & Analytics: Segment (CDP) als centrale bron voor segmentatie en gedragsdata.
  • Collaboration: Linear, Confluence en Slack.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • De Ervaring: Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in data engineering, bij voorkeur binnen een SaaS-omgeving.
  • Tech Stack: Diepgaande ervaring met Databricks, Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) en complexe ETL-processen.
  • Engineering Skills: Expert in pipeline engineering, het bouwen van API-connecties en database-optimalisatie (performance tuning).
  • Persoonlijkheid: Een proactieve 'Craft Authority' die schaalbaarheidsproblemen vooruitziet, graag hands-on bouwt en collega's technisch mentort.
  • Niveau: Minimaal HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau.
