Организация работы персонала. Распределение обязанностей между средним и младшим медперсоналом отделения, составление графиков работы, контроль за их выполнением. Ресурсное обеспечение. Получение, хранение и учёт медикаментов, расходных материалов, медицинского оборудования и дезинфицирующих средств. Анализ того, каких ресурсов не хватает, и планирование закупок. Также сюда входит контроль за правильной эксплуатацией оборудования (выявление неисправностей, подача заявок на ремонт) и ведение предметно-количественного учёта. Контроль качества и безопасности. Проверка того, как персонал исполняет врачебные назначения. Контроль соблюдения санитарно-эпидемиологического режима, правил асептики и антисептики, а также лечебно-охранительного режима. Участие во внутреннем контроле качества и безопасности медицинской деятельности. Работа с документацией. Ведение журналов, листов назначений, контроль правильности оформления медицинской документации сотрудниками. В том числе работа с электронными документами. Обучение и наставничество. Организация адаптации новых сотрудников и практики студентов. Проведение инструктажей и инструктивно-методических занятий. Участие в аттестации персонала. Обеспечение санитарно-эпидемиологического благополучия. Создание условий для проведения дезинфекции, предстерилизационной очистки и стерилизации медицинских изделий. Организация текущей и генеральной уборки. Контроль сбора, хранения и утилизации медицинских отходов. Организация сбора, хранения и транспортировки биоматериала для исследований. Организационные задачи. Создание условий для сестринского ухода за пациентами. Организация лечебного питания пациентов. Контроль процесса поступления и выписки пациентов. Взаимодействие. Координация работы отделения с другими службами медицинской организации.

Среднее профессиональное образование (СПО) по одной из специальностей: Лечебное дело, Акушерское дело или Сестринское дело . Дополнительное профессиональное образование (ДПО) по специальности Организация сестринского дела это может быть как программа повышения квалификации, так и профессиональной переподготовки . Опыт работы. Не менее 5 лет по направлению профессиональной деятельности (то есть непосредственно в сестринском деле в должности медицинской сестры, фельдшера или акушерки). Сертификат специалиста или свидетельство об аккредитации. По одной из специальностей: Лечебное дело, Акушерское дело или Сестринское дело . Документ о повышении квалификации или профессиональной переподготовке по специальности Организация сестринского дела .
