- Разборка, ремонт, реконструкция, сборка, испытание, регулировка и наладка сложных узлов, деталей и механизмов основного и вспомогательного оборудования котельных: поверхности нагрева, барабаны котлов, коллекторы, механизмы пылеприготовления и подачи топлива, трубопроводы пара, воды, газа, мазута, арматура различных параметров. - Гидравлическое испытание котлоагрегатов, трубопроводов, сосудов под давлением. - Выявление дефектов, определение причин и степени износа узлов и деталей, определение пригодности к дальнейшей работе, возможность восстановления. - Разметка особо сложных деталей, выполнение такелажных работ по перемещению, сборке, разборке и установке оборудования. - Проверка и сдача оборудования после ремонта в эксплуатацию. - Ведение технической документации, журналов ремонтных работ.

- Знание устройства, принципов работы и технических характеристик основного и вспомогательного котельного оборудования (котлы, барабаны, коллекторы, трубопроводы, арматура, насосы, вентиляторы, дымососы и др.). - Владение методами разборки, ремонта, сборки, регулировки, испытания и наладки сложных узлов и механизмов. - Умение читать чертежи, схемы, техническую документацию. - Навыки слесарной обработки деталей по 6 7 квалитетам (1 2 класс точности). - Знание правил гидравлических испытаний, методов термообработки, норм износа, правил отбраковки и восстановления деталей. - Знание требований охраны труда, промышленной, пожарной и экологической безопасности, правил работы с сосудами под давлением и газоопасными работами. - Навыки работы с ручным и механизированным инструментом, такелажными приспособлениями.
