Организация активного отдыха обучающихся в режиме учебного и внеучебного времени школы. Организация и проведение физкультурно-спортивных праздников, соревнований, дней здоровья и других мероприятий оздоровительного характера. Организация работы творческих объединений спортивной направленности и спортивных секций. Составление графиков занятости спортивных залов, координация работы тренеров-преподавателей и учителей физической культуры. Осуществление связей с учреждениями дополнительного образования спортивной направленности и учреждениями спорта. Организация деятельности физкультурного актива школы . Осуществление просветительской работы среди родителей (лиц, их заменяющих) обучающихся, педагогических работников с привлечением соответствующих специалистов. Определение содержания занятий с учётом возраста, подготовленности, индивидуальных и психофизических особенностей, интересов обучающихся. Ведение работы по овладению обучающимися навыками и техникой выполнения физических упражнений, формирование их нравственно-волевых качеств.

Инструктор должен иметь профильное образование в области физической культуры и спорта . К работе не допускаются лица, имеющие или имевшие судимость. Необходимо пройти обязательные предварительные и периодические медицинские осмотры, инструктаж по охране труда, обучение оказанию первой помощи до оказания медицинской помощи. Разъяснять и демонстрировать техники безопасного использования спортивного оборудования и инвентаря . Выполнять комплексы упражнений, предусмотренные программой занятия. Осуществлять наблюдение за безопасным использованием занимающимися спортивного оборудования и инвентаря . Контролировать соблюдение занимающимися правил этичного поведения . Определять личную мотивацию занимающихся и их цели. Разъяснять преимущества ведения здорового образа жизни . Определять оптимальные режимы использования спортивного оборудования и инвентаря .
