About the Role
Qualified Maintenance & Construction (QMC), LLC is seeking an experienced, sharp, and high-energy Commercial Service Dispatcher to manage daily field operations from our McQueeney office.
In this role, you will act as the operational nerve center for our commercial service technicians. You will manage incoming work orders, schedule multi-trade technicians, interface directly with national client portals, and make fast, cost-effective routing and scheduling decisions in real time. Training Period
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Duration: Initial 2 to 4 weeks
Position Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated experience as a commercial service dispatcher (commercial facilities maintenance, commercial plumbing, or commercial electrical).
- Software & Systems: Hands-on proficiency with ServiceTitan is strongly preferred. Experience navigating and managing third-party customer portals (e.g., ServiceChannel, Salesforce, Corrigo, EcoTrak, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Trade Knowledge: Working familiarity with plumbing, handyman, and electrical trades to appropriately match job scopes, urgency, and technical skill sets with the right field technicians.
- Operational Decision-Making: Proven ability to make smart, independent dispatch decisions based on operational efficiency, travel logistics, and company cost-effectiveness.
- Work Style: Self-sufficient, highly organized, and able to think quickly and perform accurately under pressure.
- Work Arrangement: Must be able to reliably work on-site at our McQueeney, TX office, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Dispatching: Schedule and dispatch service technicians across multiple trades using ServiceTitan, optimizing routes based on priority, location, cost-effectiveness, and technician skill level.
- Client Portal Management: Open, update, track, and close out work orders within customer-specific portals (ServiceChannel, Salesforce, Corrigo, EcoTrak) ensuring accurate status updates, notes, and compliance with client SLAs.
- Real-Time Schedule Management: Actively monitor active jobs and drive times throughout the day; quickly adjust schedules to accommodate emergency calls, scope changes, or jobs running long.
- Communication Hub & Customer Relations: Serve as the direct communication bridge connecting commercial customers, field technicians, and internal management with clear, professional updates and realistic ETAs.
- Multi-Trade Triage: Review incoming work requests across plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance scopes to determine required parts, time allocations, and proper labor assignments.
- Operational Reporting: Track open calls, pending work orders, first-time fix rates, and daily technician utilization to support weekly operational goals and billing accuracy.
