Job Summary

Operate and support enterprise SharePoint platforms (self-hosted in GCC) to ensure stable, secure, and high-performance collaboration and content management services.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, administer, and support self-hosted SharePoint Subscription Edition environments to maintain platform stability and performance
  • Manage on-premises SharePoint farms, including service applications, web applications, site collections, and content databases to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Administer SharePoint security, permissions, and authentication configurations to safeguard platform access and data integrity
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and configuration changes to keep SharePoint platforms current and secure
  • Diagnose and resolve SharePoint incidents, performance issues, and service outages to minimize downtime and maintain service quality
  • Support hosting infrastructure and dependencies related to SharePoint, including SQL Server, SMTP, and IIS, to ensure integrated system functionality
  • Provide cross-support for other enterprise hosting services as needed to maintain overall IT service continuity
  • Handle SSL certificate management to secure communication channels
  • Backup JD-B2 day-to-day operational tasks when required to ensure business continuity

Required competencies and certifications

  • Senior hands-on experience administering self-hosted SharePoint Subscription Edition platforms
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint farm architecture, service applications, and security models
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale on-premises collaboration platforms
