Job Summary

Provide senior-level operational and technical support for Microsoft 365 collaboration, messaging, and identity services, ensuring availability, security, and compliance with organisational policies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and administer account lifecycle management using in-house Account Provisioning System and on-premise Active Directory servers to support Microsoft 365 services
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business to meet approved standards
  • Manage mailbox configurations, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, Teams, and SharePoint Online sites in alignment with organisational policies
  • Configure and maintain security settings such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), role assignments, and service-level access controls within Microsoft 365 to ensure compliance and security
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex collaboration, identity, and messaging issues across Microsoft 365 services to maintain service availability
  • Resolve incidents independently and escalate to Microsoft Support when necessary to minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation, runbooks, and configuration records to support knowledge sharing and continuity
  • Collaborate with various departments to manage account lifecycle processes effectively
  • Provide cross-cover support for other Category 1A roles during operational needs to ensure seamless service delivery

Required competencies and certifications

  • Senior hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 services
  • Strong working knowledge of Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive
  • Experience supporting large enterprise Microsoft 365 environments
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
