Работать в соответствии с требованиями ФГОС основного общего и среднего общего образования. Разрабатывать и реализовывать программы по географии в рамках основных общеобразовательных программ. Планировать и проводить учебные занятия. Систематически анализировать, насколько эффективны уроки и применяемые подходы. Организовывать, контролировать и оценивать учебные достижения учеников как текущие, так и итоговые. Формировать у школьников универсальные учебные действия и навыки работы с информационно-коммуникационными технологиями (ИКТ). Создавать и поддерживать мотивацию к изучению предмета. Проводить объективную оценку знаний и умений с помощью тестирования и других методов, учитывая реальные учебные возможности детей. При этом активно использовать компьютерные технологии (текстовые редакторы, электронные таблицы). Вести электронную документацию: электронный журнал и дневники. Регулировать поведение учащихся на уроках, чтобы обеспечить безопасную образовательную среду, при этом уважая человеческое достоинство, честь и репутацию детей. Реализовывать современные, в том числе интерактивные, формы и методы воспитательной работы как на уроках, так и во внеурочной деятельности. Ставить воспитательные цели, которые способствуют развитию обучающихся независимо от их способностей и характера. Контролировать соблюдение учениками правил поведения в учебном кабинете географии (в соответствии с Уставом школы и Правилами внутреннего распорядка). Использовать воспитательный потенциал разных видов деятельности школьника: учебной, исследовательской, проектной, творческой. Содействовать развитию у учащихся познавательной активности, самостоятельности, инициативы и творческих способностей. Помогать формировать гражданскую позицию, способность к труду и жизни в современном мире, культуру здорового и безопасного образа жизни.
