Осуществлять работу по анализу состояния нормирования, степени обоснованности норм; проверять действующие нормы с целью выявления устаревших и ошибочно установленных; рассчитывать фонды заработной платы и численности работающих с учетом необходимости наиболее рационального использования трудовых ресурсов: обеспечения правильного соотношения работников по категориям персонала и квалификационным категориям, определение потребности в рабочих и служащих, планирование подготовки квалифицированных кадров, доводить плановые показатели до подразделений предприятия. Принимать участие в разработке положений о премировании рабочих и служащих, условий материального стимулирования совмещения профессий и должностей, увеличения зон обслуживания и объема выполняемых работ с целью улучшения использования оборудования и сокращения трудозатрат. Контроль за применением тарифных ставок и расценок, должностных окладов, доплат, надбавок и коэффициентов к заработной плате, за тарификацией работ и установлением в соответствии с тарифно-квалификационными справочниками разрядов рабочим и специалистам.

Экономист по труду должен знать методические и нормативные документы по организации труда и заработной плате; методы нормирования труда, порядок разработки нормативов по труду, системы оплаты труда и материального стимулирования; порядок разработки перспективных и годовых планов по труду и заработной плате, производительности труда по подразделению; методы определения численности работников; порядок тарификации работ и рабочих и установления должностных окладов, доплат, надбавок, коэффициентов у заработной плате, расчета премий; методы учета и анализа показателей по труду и заработной плате.

Оплата труда окладно-премиальная.Образование- высшее, среднее профессиональное. Уровень заработной платы зависит от квалификации,навыков и опыта работы в должности экономиста по труду. Предприятие входит в состав предприятий оборонно-промышленного комплекса. Имеет возможность бронирования на период мобилизации и военное время, предоставления отсрочки от призыва на военную службу при частичной мобилизации, ( на период работы на предприятии).
