The posting

Once again we look forward to visiting NTNU in September, holding company presentations and meeting as many of you as possible!

We aim to fill open positions for graduates in our Norwegian teams, and encourage you to send your CV and university transcripts as soon as possible in order to be invited to a 20-30 minutes' chat in September!

Job descriptions will vary from team to team, but some relevant tasks in the Drilling, Asset Integrity, Instrumentation, Wind Energy and Marine Operations may be*:

  • Participate in work of providing services related to reliable and safe operation of assets in the ocean space, e.g. marine vessels, drilling vessels, subsea assets, and offshore wind turbines.
  • Development of the 4insight digital services. This includes being part of the development and operations team which is responsible for the provision of the services to our customers. An example: Our digital services, such as ODST and DynOps, are decision support tools that are being used live in offshore operations
  • Analyses related to: Global analyses Evaluation and trending of sensor monitoring data Lifetime extension Commonly used tools are Orcaflex, Marc and Python
  • Evaluation of operational data and Integrity Management planning.
  • Participate in offshore activities (operations, installation, testing, inspection)
  • Contribute to the digitalisation of work processes
  • Communicate with customers, define and clarify scope, present results and general customer contact.

For a Software Developer tasks may include:

  • Write and maintain high-quality code
  • Support product owners in grooming user-stories
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and how 4Subsea can deliver digital services to their organisation
  • Design, build, test and operate our product 4insight across the full stack

These technologies and working methods are among those currently used:

  • Azure platform services, such as Storage, MSSQL, CosmosDB, App Services, Service Fabric, Application Insights and IoT services
  • Frameworks: .NET Core, .NET Framework, Angular
  • Languages: C#, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Python
  • Security: OAuth2, OIDC, SAML2
  • Dev/CI/CD: Visual Studio, VS Code, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, GitHub Actions
  • Source: Git/GitHub
  • Methodology: Agile with a DevOps mindset
  • Tools: JIRA/Confluence, NCrunch
