Реализация образовательной программы. Учитель разрабатывает и ведёт рабочие программы по предметам на основе федеральных рабочих программ (ФРП) и обеспечивает их выполнение. Планирование и проведение занятий. Педагог использует разнообразные формы, методы и средства обучения, включая ИКТ-технологии, и работает по индивидуальным учебным планам. Организация учебной деятельности. Учитель развивает у детей мотивацию к учёбе, познавательные интересы и способности, организует самостоятельную работу, в том числе проектную и исследовательскую. Контроль и оценка. Педагог систематически контролирует учебные достижения, объективно оценивает знания с учётом реальных возможностей учеников, формирует навыки работы с информационно-коммуникационными технологиями (ИКТ). Заполнение документации. В обязанности входит ведение классного журнала, журнала внеурочной деятельности, а при выполнении функций классного руководителя составление плана воспитательной работы и характеристик на учеников.

Знания. Нужно глубоко понимать требования ФГОС начального общего образования, методики преподавания предметов, возрастную психологию и физиологию детей младшего школьного возраста, основы психодиагностики, принципы поликультурного образования. Также важно знать основы права, экологии, экономики, методики воспитательной работы, современные педагогические технологии (дифференцированное обучение, развивающее обучение). Умения. Планировать и проводить уроки в соответствии с образовательной программой, объективно оценивать знания учеников с учётом их реальных возможностей, разрабатывать рабочие программы на основе примерных, применять современные психолого-педагогические технологии, в том числе ИКТ. Организовывать разные виды внеурочной деятельности (проектную, игровую, художественно-продуктивную). Работать с детьми с особыми образовательными потребностями (ОВЗ, дети, для которых русский язык не родной, одарённые дети). Во взаимодействии с психологом и другими специалистами проектировать и корректировать индивидуальную образовательную траекторию ученика. Навыки. Владеть ИКТ-компетентностями (общепользовательской, общепедагогической, предметно-педагогической), уметь организовывать совместную и индивидуальную деятельность учащихся, использовать разные формы и методы обучения, в том числе выходящие за рамки урока. Оказывать первую помощь, знать порядок действий при чрезвычайных ситуациях и эвакуации.
