1. На период отсутствия начальника отряда временно исполнять его служебные обязанности без освобождения от выполнения служебных обязанностей по замещаемой должности; 2. Участвует в квалификационных и аттестационных комиссиях отряда; 3. Осуществляет подготовку и обеспечивает участие личного состава части в соревнованиях и конкурсах; 4. Осуществляет прием граждан, рассматривает предложения, заявления и жалобы по вопросам деятельности пожарно-спасательной части, принимает по ним необходимые меры; 5. Контролирует выполнение правил охраны труда при несении службы в подразделении; 6. Обеспечивает постоянную готовность пожарной, спасательной техники, пожарно-технического вооружения; 7. Осуществляет координацию деятельности всех видов пожарной охраны; 8. Участвует в проведении аварийно-спасательных работ при чрезвычайных ситуациях и тушении пожаров; 9. Обеспечивает поддержание в готовности к действиям сил отряда; 10. Выезжает на места тушения пожаров, ликвидации аварий, стихийных бедствий и ЧС; 11. Обязан знать район выезда подчиненного подразделения, расположение взрывопожароопасных объектов, их пожарную опасность, тактико-технические характеристики пожарной и аварийно-спасательной техники, имеющейся на вооружении подразделения; 12. Организует и контролирует несение караульной службы.

Требования к образованию и обучению: высшее образование специалитет или магистратура в области, соответствующей виду профессиональной деятельности или высшее образование специалитет или магистратура и дополнительное профессиональное образование программы профессиональной переподготовки в области, соответствующей виду профессиональной деятельности. Требования к опыту практической работы: стаж работы в противопожарной службе на руководящих должностях не менее 3 лет. Особые условия допуска к работе: прохождение обязательных предварительных и периодических медицинских осмотров; прохождение психиатрического освидетельствования при поступлении на работу, лица не моложе 18 лет, запрещено применение труда женщин. Дополнительные требования: знания и навыки в области организации и проведения аварийно-спасательных работ, пожарной безопасности, руководства личным составом, а также знание нормативных документов, регламентирующих деятельность МЧС, отсутствие судимости. Личные качества: умение работать в команде, принимать решения в условиях повышенного риска, стрессоустойчивость, организаторские способности, коммуникабельность.
