The posting

Job Description:

  1. Full sent of accounts including month schedules and financial/management reporting;
  2. Prepare and maintain GL entries (accrual of expenses, reversal of prepayment etc);
  3. Create and maintain report format in accounting system;
  4. Perform and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing;
  5. Perform analytical review;
  6. Staff claim processing;
  7. Check AP invoice posting to GL, overseas payment to vendors and technical agent payment;
  8. Prepare weekly cashflow report;
  9. Check Purchase Requisition Form to ensure expense is within budget;
  10. Check and maintain project code (Advertising and Promotion events) in system and monitor project expenses;
  11. Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and company's policies and procedures;
  12. Support internal and external audit;
  13. Prepare information required for corporate tax filing;
  14. Prepare quartely GST submission;
  15. Ad hoc duties as assigned by Finance Manager/ General Manager.

Job Requirements:

  1. Possess at least Degree in Accountancy or equivalent accounting qualification;
  2. Proficient in MS Excel and other MS office applications;
  3. Good organizational and communication skills;
  4. Meticulous, hands-on and good team player;
  5. Prior working experiene with AS400 JDA preferred but not a prerequisite.
