Водитель школьного автобуса выполняет следующие должностные обязанности: 1. перед выездом на маршрут проводит проверку технического состояния автобуса; 2. своевременно проводит заправку автобуса топливом, смазочными материалами и охлаждающей жидкостью; 3. проходит предрейсовый и медицинский осмотр с соответствующей записью в путевом листе; 4 проходит периодические медицинские освидетельствования в установленные сроки и имеет при себе медицинскую справку соответствующей формы; 5 при движении по маршруту имеет в салоне автобуса график движенияи схему маршрута с указанием опасных участков; 6 осуществляет перевозку детей в светлое время суток с включением ближнего света фар; 7 выбирает скорость движения в зависимости от дорожных, метеорологических и других условий, но при этом во всех случаях скоростьне должна превышать 60 км/ч; 8 не выходит из кабины автобуса при посадке и высадке детей; 9 не осуществляет движение задним ходом; 10 следит за тем, чтобы окна в салоне автобуса при движении были закрыты; 11 несёт ответственность за то, чтобы количество перевозимых в автобусе детей вместе с сопровождающими не превышало числа оборудованных для сидения мест; 12 не перевозит пассажиров в попутном направлении вместе со школьниками; 13 при появлении неисправности в работе двигателя и систем автобуса принимает вправо, съезжает на обочину дороги, останавливает автобус. Движение продолжает только после устранения возникшей неисправности; 14 при получении учащимся травмы, оказывает первую помощь пострадавшему, при необходимости доставляет его в ближайшее лечебное учреждение и сообщает об этом администрации школы; 15 проходит инструктаж не реже одного раза в месяц с соответствующей регистрацией в журнале учета инструктажей; 16 соблюдает правила ТБ и противопожарной безопасности при работе на маршруте; 17 знает порядок действий при возникновении пожара в автобусе, ДТП, по эвакуации детей из автобуса, оказании первой медицинской помощи пострадавшим, захвате автобуса террористами; 18 несет ответственность за нарушение нормативных актов по обеспечению безопасности дорожного движения и Положения о порядке осуществления школьных маршрутов; 19 отвечает за техническое состояние автобуса, устраняет неисправности, возникшие на маршруте, требующих разборки механизмов; 20 знает способы обнаружения и устранения неисправностей, возникающих в процессе эксплуатации автобуса, порядок проведения технического обслуживания, способы предотвращения ДТП, правила подачи автобуса под посадку и высадку детей; 21 осуществляет правильное оформление путевых листов.

К управлению школьным автобусом допускается водитель: 1, 2 класса, имеющий удостоверение на право управления транспортными средствамикатегории Д и непрерывный стаж работы в качестве водителя автобуса не менее трех последних лет; не допустивший в течение календарного года грубые нарушения ПДД и трудовой дисциплины; не имевший случаев отстранения от управления автотранспортными средствами по причине нетрезвого состояния; Опыт работы от 3 лет
