7AI is the foundational AI security company. Founded in 2024 by Cybereason co-founders Lior Div and Yonatan Striem-Amit, we came out of stealth in February 2025 to take on the non-human work of the SOC. Our platform pairs a federated SIEM with AI agents that detect, investigate, respond, and hunt, plus dedicated threat hunting and threat intelligence, with humans on the loop.

Backed by $166 million in total funding from investors including Index Ventures and Blackstone, we're building the AI foundation for security operations in the agentic era, and we're still early. OVERVIEW

AI agents that detect and respond to threats can't go down when customers need them most, and the infrastructure underneath has to hold up under that pressure. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll build and scale the core platform behind our AI-driven security products. You'll work closely with our AI, backend, and product teams to keep our systems performant, stable, and secure. You'll own key pieces of our cloud and service platform, automate what you can, and improve how we deliver, monitor, and scale critical applications. This role is for someone who wants to build reliable infrastructure and help teams ship faster with confidence.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Design and build scalable, secure, high-performance infrastructure for our AI-native platform.

- Own AWS region expansion, harden systems for compliance, and improve elasticity, disaster recovery, and high availability.

- Build tooling, services, and automation, including runbook automation and AI-assisted developer workflows, to improve platform reliability and developer experience.

- Partner with AI and backend engineers on deployment, CI/CD, observability, and performance optimization.

- Lead infrastructure-as-code and container orchestration initiatives that reduce toil and improve incident response.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 5+ years of experience in platform, DevOps, or software engineering roles.

- Experience working closely with development teams, with a proven ability to change production code.

- Strong software development skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.

- Deep experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions.

- Experience building observability and monitoring systems with tools like the Grafana stack.

- A passion for developer experience, automation, and high-scale systems.

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, and security fundamentals.

- Curiosity to work at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with AI/ML platforms or data-intensive systems.

- Knowledge of agent frameworks, LLM orchestration, or event-driven architectures.

- Familiarity with SOC operations, threat detection, or security automation tools.
