ROLE MISSION:

Enable how KPM products are brought to market, sold, contracted, activated, monetized, and scaled through connected seller experiences and Salesforce-powered commercial capabilities.

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

The Lead Product Manager combines technology, user experience, data, and business strategy to solve meaningful customer and business problems. This role partners closely with commercial, product, operations, marketing, finance, and technology stakeholders to create scalable solutions that improve how KPM products are brought to market, sold, contracted, activated, monetized, and scaled. The role is accountable for delivering measurable business value through product strategy, Salesforce innovation, workflow automation, and continuous improvement of the seller experience.

SUMMARY:

The Lead Product Manager serves as the strategic product leader for KPM’s Salesforce platform, defining the vision, strategy, roadmap, and operating model for enterprise capabilities delivered across Salesforce. The role ensures the platform evolves as a scalable, connected product that supports business growth, operational consistency, trusted data, and sustainable technology practices.

The role leads Salesforce platform strategy across Media Cloud and related capabilities, balancing business priorities with platform health, architectural direction, security, data quality, integration needs, governance, and total cost of ownership. This leader partners with business and technology stakeholders to prioritize reusable platform investments, reduce unnecessary customization, and establish clear standards for how Salesforce capabilities are designed, delivered, and sustained.

The role translates complex business needs into a coherent platform roadmap and well-defined product outcomes. Using strong Salesforce functional and technical knowledge, this leader evaluates cross-platform impacts, guides capability and data-model decisions, manages dependencies, and partners closely with architecture and engineering to ensure solutions are feasible, secure, supportable, and aligned with the long-term Salesforce strategy.

Success Profile

The ideal candidate is a strategic platform product leader who combines deep Salesforce knowledge with strong product judgment and enterprise systems thinking. This individual can define a durable platform vision, connect business demand to reusable capabilities, and make informed tradeoffs across value, architecture, data, security, integration, adoption, and platform health. The candidate creates clarity in ambiguous problem spaces, leads through influence, and establishes the governance, roadmap discipline, and cross-functional alignment needed to scale Salesforce as a trusted enterprise platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Salesforce Platform Product Definition & Business Analysis

  • Lead discovery across business and technology teams to define platform problems, desired outcomes, user needs, and enterprise impacts.
  • Translate demand into well-defined Salesforce capabilities, business rules, process flows, data requirements, security considerations, dependencies, assumptions, and testable acceptance criteria.
  • Evaluate whether needs should be addressed through standard Salesforce functionality, configuration, automation, integration, or targeted customization.
  • Assess impacts across the Salesforce data model, integrations, identity and access, reporting, environments, and dependent platforms before work enters delivery.
  • Partner with architecture, engineering, design, and quality teams to resolve tradeoffs and maintain shared understanding from discovery through release.

Salesforce Platform Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for KPM’s Salesforce platform and its connected enterprise capabilities.
  • Prioritize investments based on business value, platform health, architectural alignment, risk reduction, reuse, scalability, commercial growth opportunities, and organizational needs.
  • Define measurable outcomes and use platform telemetry, adoption insights, delivery performance, and stakeholder feedback to guide roadmap decisions.

Salesforce Product Leadership

  • Serve as product owner for KPM’s Salesforce ecosystem, including Media Cloud and the shared account, opportunity, product, pricing, contracting, workflow, and reporting capabilities delivered through the platform.
  • Establish platform product principles and governance for configuration, customization, automation, data, integrations, security, environments, and release management.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to evolve CRM operating models, platform capabilities, and user experiences.
  • Partner with architecture and engineering to manage technical debt, platform limits, upgrade impacts, nonfunctional requirements, and long-term maintainability.
  • Drive Salesforce modernization, lifecycle planning, adoption, and optimization to improve platform reliability, usability, scalability, and business value.

Product Commercialization

  • Lead product strategy for lead-to-revenue processes, product commercialization, commercial approval workflows, and contract lifecycle management capabilities.
  • Design connected seller experiences that simplify how teams manage accounts, opportunities, products, pricing, and customer interactions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through standardization, automation, and workflow transformation.

AI & Automation

  • Define a responsible Salesforce AI and automation strategy using Agentforce, Einstein, Flow, and related capabilities where they create measurable value.
  • Ensure intelligent capabilities are supported by appropriate data readiness, security, governance, human oversight, reuse, and lifecycle ownership.

Platform Governance, Adoption & Delivery

  • Build trusted partnerships across business product teams, enterprise architecture, data, security, engineering, operations, and platform administration.
  • Establish transparent intake, prioritization, decision, and governance practices that align demand to platform strategy and delivery capacity.
  • Coordinate release readiness, dependency management, change impacts, adoption planning, and outcome measurement across Salesforce initiatives.
  • Maintain product-definition quality through delivery by resolving requirement gaps, clarifying intent, validating acceptance criteria, and confirming that released capabilities achieve intended outcomes without compromising platform integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in product management, product ownership, sales technology, revenue operations, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading product strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, end-to-end product development, and releases for complex business capabilities.
  • Experience supporting commercial, sales, account management, CRM, lead-to-revenue, or go-to-market processes.
  • Skilled in managing cross-functional software development teams in an agile environment.
  • Skilled in balancing business priorities, design and user needs, technical feasibility, and product roadmap commitments.
  • Experienced in building and managing stakeholder relationships to influence decisions and drive change.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, analytical, planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to translate effectively between business and technical audiences through strong verbal and written communication.
  • Technical acumen sufficient to grasp platform, data, integration, and architecture details and lead a product team or program.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to remain confident, positive, and resourceful when navigating unexpected results or setbacks.
  • Demonstrated qualities of a collaborative and effective teammate.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead structured product discovery and translate complex or ambiguous business needs into clear, actionable, and testable product requirements.
  • Experience defining business rules, process flows, data requirements, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and nonfunctional considerations for complex enterprise capabilities.
  • Ability to evaluate Salesforce solution implications and engage credibly with architects and engineers on configuration, data models, integrations, security, automation, and platform constraints.
  • Strong judgment in determining when a request is sufficiently defined for delivery and when further discovery, validation, or technical assessment is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Required Salesforce & Product-Definition Expertise

  • Demonstrated experience defining product strategy and roadmaps for Salesforce-enabled commercial capabilities.
  • Hands-on or product leadership experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Media Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud, contract lifecycle management integrations, or related commercial technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce CRM operating models, account and opportunity management, workflow automation, security concepts, data quality, reporting, integrations, release practices, and adoption strategies.
  • Experience leading Salesforce transformation, modernization, implementation, or optimization initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Experience with Agentforce, Einstein capabilities, or intelligent AI seller enablement solutions.
  • Experience with commercial workflows such as product commercialization, pricing, quoting, approvals, upfront commitments, contracting, or revenue operations.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Business Analyst, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or other relevant credentials are not necessary but are beneficial.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
