The posting

We are looking for a reliable and service-oriented Part-Time Clinic Assistant to support our daily clinic operations. Students awaiting university admission or the start of their university term are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.

Working Hours

This role mainly involves evening and weekend shifts:

  • Weekday evenings: 6pm–10pm
  • Saturdays: 9am–1pm
  • Sundays: 6pm–10pm

Responsibilities

  • Register patients, schedule appointments and send appointment reminders.
  • Attend to patient enquiries via phone, SMS and email.
  • Prepare medications for doctor review and dispense them according to clinic protocols.
  • Assist doctors during consultations and procedures, including chaperone duties.
  • Assist with simple clinical procedures, such as ECG and nebuliser treatments, after training.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative duties.
  • Keep the clinic clean and organised, and monitor and replenish medications and consumables.
  • Address basic patient concerns and escalate matters when necessary.

Requirements

  • Able to commit to evening and weekend shifts.
  • Comfortable using computers and willing to learn clinic systems.
  • Responsible, dependable and able to work well in a team.
  • Friendly and patient, with a strong service attitude.
  • Students are welcome to apply.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Previous clinic, healthcare or front desk experience is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Plato CMS and TPA, MediSave or insurance claims is helpful.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin or dialects is an advantage when assisting elderly patients who do not speak English.
