Spisehuset Dragør Sejlklub ligger ved Dragør Havn i en historisk bygning fra 1863. Restauranten har fokus på god mad, god service og en hyggelig atmosfære. Køkkenet står for den daglige restaurantdrift samt selskaber og arrangementer, og der er derfor fokus på kvalitet, effektivitet og godt samarbejde i køkkenet.

Som køkken souschef bliver du en central del af den daglige køkkendrift og arbejder tæt sammen med køkkenchefen og det øvrige køkkenpersonale. Stillingen indebærer både praktisk køkkenarbejde samt ansvar for koordinering og ledelse af køkkenpersonalet.

Dine primære arbejdsopgaver

  • Assistere køkkenchefen med den daglige ledelse og koordinering
  • Varetage køkkendriften ved køkkenchefens fravær
  • Fordele og koordinere arbejdsopgaver blandt køkkenpersonalet
  • Planlægge mise en place og øvrig forberedelse
  • Deltage aktivt i madlavning og produktion
  • Sikre kvalitet, smag og ensartethed i retterne
  • Oplære og vejlede nye medarbejdere
  • Medvirke til planlægning af bemanding og arbejdsflow
  • Kontrollere varemodtagelse, lager og råvareforbrug
  • Sikre overholdelse af hygiejne- og fødevaresikkerhedsregler
  • Bidrage til en effektiv drift under både almindelig service og selskaber

Vi søger dig, der

  • Har relevant erfaring fra et professionelt køkken
  • Har erfaring som souschef, køkkenansvarlig, teamleder eller tilsvarende
  • Har erfaring med koordinering eller ledelse af køkkenpersonale
  • Kan arbejde selvstændigt og tage ansvar for køkkendriften
  • Er struktureret, stabil og ansvarsbevidst
  • Kan bevare overblikket under travle services
  • Har fokus på kvalitet, effektivitet og fødevaresikkerhed
  • Kan kommunikere på engelsk. Dansk er en fordel.

KITCHEN SOUS CHEF WANTED FOR SPISEHUSET DRAGØR SEJLKLUB

Spisehuset Dragør Sejlklub is looking for an experienced and responsible Kitchen Sous Chef for a permanent full-time position of 37 hours per week.

About the restaurant

Spisehuset Dragør Sejlklub is located at Dragør Harbour in a historic building dating from 1863. The restaurant focuses on good food, good service and a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen is responsible for daily restaurant service as well as private functions and events, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and teamwork.

As Kitchen Sous Chef, you will play a central role in the daily kitchen operation and work closely with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team. The position includes both practical kitchen work and responsibility for coordinating and supervising kitchen staff.

Main responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef with the daily management and coordination of the kitchen
  • Take responsibility for the kitchen operation when the Head Chef is absent
  • Distribute and coordinate tasks among kitchen staff
  • Plan mise en place and other preparation
  • Take an active part in cooking and food production
  • Ensure quality, taste and consistency of dishes
  • Train and guide new employees
  • Assist with staffing and workflow planning
  • Monitor deliveries, stock and ingredient usage
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and food safety requirements
  • Contribute to efficient operations during both regular service and private functions

About you

  • Relevant professional kitchen experience
  • Experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Supervisor, Team Leader or similar
  • Experience coordinating or supervising kitchen staff
  • Able to work independently and take responsibility for kitchen operations
  • Organised, reliable and responsible
  • Able to remain calm during busy services
  • Focused on quality, efficiency and food safety
  • Able to communicate in English. Danish is an advantage.
