About Us Bakers Delight Lanyon is a trusted local bakery offering a wide variety of traditional and gourmet breads and baked goods, all baked from scratch fresh daily on premises. We pride ourselves on quality, craftsmanship and exceptional service in a friendly retail bakery environment. Role Overview Location: Lanyon Marketplace, Shop 4/4 Sidney Nolan St, Conder ACT 2906 Employment Type: Full Time Salary: 70,000 to 80,000 plus super We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our bakery team. This hands-on role involves preparing and baking a variety of bread and bakery products according to established recipes while maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. Key Responsibilities • Mixing, kneading and preparing dough for breads and bakery products • Baking a range of products including bread, rolls and specialty items • Monitoring proofing and baking processes to ensure consistent quality • Operating commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently • Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards • Maintaining clean and organised work areas • Assisting with stock rotation and ingredient control • Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets Requirements • Relevant baking qualification or equivalent industry experience • Minimum two years full-time experience as a Baker • Strong understanding of dough preparation and baking techniques • Ability to work early morning shifts • Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team • Good knowledge of workplace health, safety and food handling standards Benefits What We Offer • Stable full-time employment • Supportive and friendly team environment • Opportunities to learn and grow within the business How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and availability.
