Bakers Delight is one of Australia’s most recognised bakery franchises, known for baking fresh bread daily using traditional recipes and real ingredients. Established in 1980, the brand has grown to more than 700 bakeries worldwide and continues to deliver high-quality baked goods made fresh in store every day. Bakers Delight Belconnen is seeking an experienced and motivated Baker to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled baker who is passionate about producing high-quality breads and bakery products in a fast-paced environment. About the Role The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads and baked goods while maintaining the quality and standards Bakers Delight is known for. Key Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of breads, rolls and specialty bakery products in accordance with established recipes and production schedules Measure and combine ingredients, mix and knead doughs, and manage fermentation and proofing processes Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent product quality Shape, mould and finish dough products prior to baking Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards within the bakery Assist with stock control, ingredient preparation and daily production planning Requirements Relevant baking qualification or equivalent industry experience Experience working in a commercial bakery environment Strong knowledge of bread production processes and baking techniques Ability to work early morning shifts in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Benefits Supportive and friendly working environment Opportunity to work with a well-known Australian bakery brand Stable full-time employment with ongoing training opportunities How to Apply If you have a passion for baking and would like to join the Bakers Delight Belconnen team, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience.
