DEUTSCH: Als Financial Analyst (m/w/d) sind Sie für die ordnungsgemäße Durchführung der Finanzbuchhaltung sowie die Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen verantwortlich. Sie stellen die Einhaltung lokaler Rechnungslegungsvorschriften und konzerninterner Anforderungen sicher und unterstützen steuerliche sowie regulatorische Prozesse. Darüber hinaus arbeiten Sie eng mit Wirtschaftsprüfern, Steuerberatern und internen Stakeholdern zusammen und tragen durch Analysen und Reportings zur Transparenz der finanziellen Ergebnisse bei. Die Rolle bietet außerdem die Möglichkeit, Finanzprozesse und bereichsübergreifende Projekte aktiv mitzugestalten.

ENGLISCH: As a Financial Analyst (m/f/d), you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. You will ensure compliance with local accounting standards and corporate reporting requirements while supporting tax and statutory obligations. Working closely with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to the accuracy and transparency of financial information. Additionally, you will support process improvement initiatives and participate in finance-related projects.

DEUTSCH:

  • Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen nach HGB und US GAAP sowie Sicherstellung der Einhaltung relevanter Bilanzierungsrichtlinien.
  • Verantwortung für die laufende Buchhaltung, das Hauptbuch sowie die ordnungsgemäße Finanzberichterstattung.
  • Verwaltung und Buchung des Anlagevermögens.
  • Erstellung von Umsatzsteuererklärungen sowie Unterstützung bei Ertragsteuer- und Jahressteuererklärungen nach lokalem Recht und US GAAP.
  • Durchführung des quartalsweisen Steuerreportings an die Konzern- bzw. Konsolidierungsstelle sowie Sicherstellung steuerlicher Compliance-Anforderungen.
  • Zentraler Ansprechpartner für interne und externe Stakeholder in allen steuerlichen und bilanzierungsrelevanten Fragestellungen, einschließlich Wirtschaftsprüfern und Steuerberatern.
  • Erstellung von Cash-Pool-Forecasts, Durchführung von Abweichungsanalysen sowie Mitwirkung an Finanz-, Compliance- und Prozessoptimierungsprojekten (z. B. Betriebsprüfungen und Systemeinführungen).
  • Alle weiteren Aufgaben wie zugewiesen.

ENGLISCH:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and US GAAP, ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies and reporting requirements.
  • Manage general ledger accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records and reporting processes.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and related financial documentation.
  • Prepare VAT filings and support corporate income tax reporting and annual tax return activities under local regulations and US GAAP requirements.
  • Perform quarterly tax reporting for corporate and consolidation purposes while ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for tax- and accounting-related matters, working closely with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare cash pool forecasts, perform variance analyses, and contribute to finance transformation, audit support, and system implementation projects.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

DEUTSCH:

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung mit Weiterbildung zum Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK), Studium im Bereich Finanzen/Rechnungswesen oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung (mindestens 3-5 Jahre) in der Finanzbuchhaltung, im Accounting oder in der Erstellung von Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüssen.
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in HGB sowie idealerweise praktische Erfahrung mit US-GAAP-Reporting in einem internationalen Unternehmensumfeld.
  • Gute Kenntnisse im Bereich Umsatzsteuer, Ertragsteuer und steuerlicher Berichterstattung sowie Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit Wirtschaftsprüfern und Steuerberatern.
  • Sehr gute Excel-Kenntnisse, Erfahrung mit ERP-Systemen sowie sichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
  • Selbstständige, strukturierte und zuverlässige Arbeitsweise mit ausgeprägten analytischen Fähigkeiten.

ENGLISCH:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, certified accountant qualification, or a comparable professional background.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or general ledger accounting, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Strong knowledge of HGB and ideally hands-on experience with US GAAP reporting in an international environment.
  • Solid understanding of VAT, corporate income tax matters, and statutory reporting requirements, with experience working with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, combined with strong German and English communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated professional with strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
