The posting

About us

AB InBev is the leading global brewer and one of the world’s top 5 consumer product companies. With over 500 beer brands, we’re number one or two in many of the world’s top beer markets, including North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

About BEES

Join us to build the future of B2B commerce! BEES is AB InBev’s B2B platform. Through our ecosystem, merchants and retailers across 29 countries can stock their businesses quickly, easily, and securely.

At BEES, we dream big, lead with purpose, and develop technology that transforms the way retailers and sellers grow. Every line of code and every partnership is built in service of a single mission: to make commerce better for retailers and sellers around the world.

Here, your work is not just important. It makes a difference!

What you'll do:

  • Play a critical role in guiding technical feature design for the Android app, including architecture, patterns, and trade-offs aligned with product and business goals.
  • Take ownership of understanding business and operational problems and how to deliver sustainable, scalable solutions on mobile.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to turn commercial ideas into tangible changes in the BEES Android application.
  • Put the customer first and move quickly in a dynamic environment to architect simple, testable, and scalable solutions with Product and local Business Operations.
  • Raise the bar for your technical team: lead strategic code reviews, define architecture guidelines, and contribute directly to the codebase when needed to unblock the team, reduce risk, and improve quality.
  • Build and grow the team’s capabilities; mentor engineers on Kotlin, the Android framework, mobile architecture, testing, performance, and engineering best practices.
  • Help evolve the mobile platform (modularization, layering, integrations, observability, release process, and stability).

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar technical field.
  • Strong hands-on Android development experience.
  • Solid command of mobile architecture best practices.
  • Experience shipping production apps at scale: performance, memory, offline-first where relevant, security, and failure handling.
  • Experience integrating with APIs (REST/JSON), authentication, caching, and sync; understanding of distributed systems from a mobile client perspective.
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD, versioning, feature flags, and release practices (Play Store, tracks, crashes/ANRs).
  • Relevant experience mentoring developers and driving technical decisions with the team.
  • Experience in a scaled Agile & Scrum environment; fast-paced tech company experience is a plus.

More about you:

  • A self-starter who can lead multiple strategic initiatives and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead from the front — not afraid to debug complex issues, review critical PRs, or implement solutions when the team needs concrete technical direction.
  • A systems thinker who enjoys complex problems and designs solutions that balance product, engineering, operations, and millions of users.
  • Strong communication skills — able to understand business objectives and translate them into an end-to-end engineering plan.
  • Collaborative with Product, backend, QA, and Operations while maintaining technical rigor and ownership of app quality.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
