About ABACUS digital

ABACUS digital is a fintech company under SCBX. We use technology and data to make lending more inclusive, so more Thais can get fair and convenient access to credit through our digital lending products, including MoneyThunder.

Our DevSecOps team is growing. As an intern, you’ll learn how real fintech systems are built, secured, and run, and you’ll own a hands-on project with support from experienced engineers.

What You Will Do

  • Learn how our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) work, and help add security and quality checks such as SAST, dependency scanning, secret scanning, and container image scanning.
  • Learn infrastructure as code with Terraform/Terragrunt on AWS, and help make small, reviewed changes in non-production environments.
  • Learn the basics of running containerized workloads on Kubernetes (EKS), including deployment, scaling, and security best practices.
  • Try AI coding agents and automation tools in your daily work, and learn how to check what they produce and use them safely.
  • Spot repetitive tasks and build simple scripts or tools to automate them.
  • Help review findings from security scanners and work with developers to confirm fixes.
  • Help build or improve monitoring dashboards and alerts.
  • Write clear documentation and how-to guides so other teams can follow good DevSecOps practices.
  • Deliver an internship project, such as a secure pipeline template, an automation tool, or a monitoring dashboard, and present it to the team at the end of your internship.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic scripting skills in Python, Node.js, or shell.
  • Basic understanding of Linux and networking (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP).
  • Familiar with Git and basic version control workflows.
  • Interest in cloud, security, and automation, plus a strong drive to learn by doing.
  • Systematic problem-solving and close attention to detail.
  • Good communication in Thai and English, and comfortable asking questions and sharing what you learn.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AWS, GCP, or any cloud platform, from coursework, certificates, or personal projects.
  • Basic knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or another CI/CD tool.
  • Basic understanding of security concepts such as OWASP Top 10.
  • Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor.
  • A home lab, side projects, CTF participation, or open-source contributions you can show us.

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience with tools used in production: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and security scanners.
  • One-on-one mentorship from DevSecOps engineers, plus regular feedback on your project.
  • A real project you can add to your portfolio.
  • Experience with AI-assisted engineering in a modern fintech team.
  • A culture built on our values: Think Bold, Make Impact, Build Trust.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
