If so, you might be the perfect fit as our new Corporate Marketing Communication Specialist at ABENA!

At ABENA, we are looking for a Corporate Marketing Communication Specialist who can help strengthen our global brand and ensure that our most important stories reach the right audiences. You will join our Global Marketing team and play a key role in shaping how customers, partners, and stakeholders experience ABENA through corporate marketing communication, marketing-related PR, ESG communication, social media, and thought leadership.

This is more than a marketing communication role. You will have the opportunity to influence and help define the frameworks, processes, and ways of working that support corporate marketing communication across our global organization. Working closely with colleagues across Sustainability, Compliance, Product Management, Sales, and our international markets, you will transform complex topics into engaging communication, build stakeholder commitment, and help bring ambitious communication projects to life.

You will be based at our global headquarters in Aabenraa. We believe that flexibility is best created through trust and dialogue, which is why we work together to find solutions that support both business needs and everyday life.

Your main responsibilities

  • Shape the frameworks, processes, and ways of working that strengthen corporate marketing communication across ABENA.
  • Drive cross-functional marketing communication projects by engaging stakeholders, aligning expectations, and keeping momentum on deliverables and deadlines.
  • Discover and develop compelling stories that support proactive PR and strengthen ABENA's position within healthcare, sustainability, innovation, and business development.
  • Turn complex corporate, ESG, regulatory, and commercial topics into clear, engaging communication that resonates with customers and external stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver content for corporate websites, LinkedIn, PR activities, presentations, articles, and other corporate marketing communication channels.
  • Influence and strengthen a consistent global corporate direction while adapting communication to local market needs and stakeholder perspectives.

What we hope you bring

  • 2- 3 years’ experience in corporate communication, marketing communication, PR, journalism, or a related field, ideally from an international organization, an agency, or another complex stakeholder environment.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complicated subjects understandable without oversimplifying them.
  • A persistent and constructive approach to stakeholder management, including the confidence to follow up, challenge input, and hold people to agreed deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience with external marketing communication, PR, media relations, corporate content, or thought leadership.
  • The ability to create structure where processes are still developing and to turn ideas and plans into practical, repeatable ways of working.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, combined with sound judgment when adapting messages to different audiences, channels, and markets.
