SALARY: $27.11 + 4.25 hours of daily OT

SHIFT SCHEDULE:

  • 3 days on / 3 days off
  • 12.25 hours (rotating days/nights) every 8 weeks
  • 5:45 am - 6:00 pm, 5:45 pm - 6:00 am
  • Voluntary OT and Mandatory OT as needed by the business.

ROLE SUMMARY:

This position allows for the development of your mechanical and technical aptitude to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our high-speed manufacturing equipment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with a team to read and interpret information, monitor equipment, and inspect products to maintain quality standards
  • Effectively and safely operate and maintain can manufacturing equipment with a focus on plant safety, quality, production and cost goals.
  • Perform quality, maintenance and housekeeping checks while managing the technical process and record in automated computer systems programs
  • Follow safe work practices and maintain a working knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
  • Ability to adjust, and do basic repairs on high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
  • Continuously expand upon your mechanical and technical knowledge, ability to follow SOP.
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on process equipment
  • Maintain our work area in accordance with all sanitation and 5S standards, safety is our first priority

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of industrial experience, preferably in a high-speed manufacturing or packaging environment
  • Basic knowledge of equipment and machinery
  • Proven troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to continuously stand, bend, and twist as well as lift items up to 50 pounds
  • Superior work history, including good attendance
  • Forklift operating experience preferred
