Job Description

The Account Supervisor will ensure company standards are met in compliance with janitorial operations and servicing contractual obligations to customers within specified budget of labor and expense.

Responsibilities

  1. Assure that the supplies to budget goals are achieved for each specific job during each quarter
  2. Will manage a staff
  3. Maintain contract specifications
  4. Maintain service quantity and quality to client and the company
  5. Process payroll
  6. Order office and janitorial supplies
  7. Perform safety and HR Audits
  8. Interview and select new employees
  9. Perform job counseling and issue employee discipline as necessary in partnership with the Human
  10. Resources Business Partner or Manager
  11. Check all work on a nightly and turn in completion reports
  12. Assign tasks to workers based on job requirements as specified by the contract or special assignments requested by the customer
  13. Train new staff and oversee on-going training of existing employees in proper cleaning methods and use of equipment, safety practices, and regulations
  14. Perform daily quality control inspections
  15. Process weekly payroll and ensure payroll is submitted in accordance with wage and Hour laws
  16. Complete and submit employee change forms to Human Resources as needed
  17. Assists in safety programs follow-through by Branch Safety Coordinators to ensure compliance with all safety policies
  18. Be aware of the fundamentals of good personnel management
  19. Ensure building is in compliance with all State and Federal guidelines as well as company policies
  20. Understand and use proper personnel management skills to resolve problems with personnel
  21. Determines materials, supplies, and equipment needs
  22. Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications

  1. Two plus years of supervisory experience and managing employees
  2. Two of janitorial experience in a large commercial property or sporting arena or stadium
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
  4. Good communication skills both written and verbal
