The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Security Sales Executive, Southeast based in the United States.

Join a fast-growing cybersecurity organization at the forefront of AI security, helping enterprises navigate the emerging risks associated with AI adoption. As an AI Security Sales Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for a portfolio of innovative AI security solutions, from prospecting and executive engagement to negotiation and closing. You will focus on winning major enterprise customers while expanding opportunities within an established customer base. Working closely with account executives, sales engineers, and product leadership, you will combine strong commercial instincts with the technical expertise needed to engage sophisticated security buyers. You will also help shape go-to-market strategies, influence product development, and build repeatable sales playbooks for an evolving category. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-growth market, work with senior stakeholders, and make a measurable impact on revenue and enterprise security.

Accountabilities

  • Own the AI security sales cycle: Manage the complete sales process across your territory, from initial prospecting and discovery through product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing, while consistently delivering against revenue targets.
  • Acquire strategic enterprise customers: Identify, engage, and convert high-value enterprise prospects, opening new accounts and establishing relationships with major organizations seeking to secure their AI environments.
  • Expand existing accounts: Develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the current customer base, collaborating with account executives to identify customer needs and maximize the value of AI security solutions.
  • Prioritize opportunities strategically: Evaluate inbound demand, account potential, and pipeline quality to focus time and resources on opportunities with the greatest commercial impact.
  • Collaborate with sales teams: Partner with account executives and sales engineering teams to strengthen customer engagement, support complex opportunities, and equip colleagues to communicate the value of AI security products effectively.
  • Lead technical sales conversations: Explain AI security architectures, behavioral AI, cloud security, and AI agent protection to technical stakeholders, security leaders, and executive decision-makers.
  • Manage early-access opportunities: Lead design partner discussions for products in early availability, coordinating with product leadership and internal specialists to structure engagements and gather meaningful customer feedback.
  • Shape go-to-market strategies: Share customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market feedback with product leadership to refine positioning, improve offerings, and develop effective sales methodologies.
  • Build and refine the sales playbook: Help establish repeatable approaches for selling an evolving portfolio of AI security products, adapting strategies as features, availability, and customer requirements change.
  • Maintain product and market expertise: Stay informed about product developments, emerging AI security threats, competitive offerings, and changing enterprise requirements to maintain credibility and identify new opportunities.
  • Enterprise sales experience: At least 5 years of quota-carrying sales experience, primarily focused on enterprise accounts, with a demonstrated record of winning new customers and expanding existing relationships.
  • Technical understanding: Ability to discuss AI architectures, cloud security concepts, behavioral AI, and emerging AI security challenges in sufficient depth to establish credibility with technical buyers.
  • Prospecting and closing skills: Strong hunting instincts, experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles, and the ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers and security stakeholders.
  • Strategic prioritization: Sound commercial judgment and the ability to manage competing opportunities, allocate time effectively, and focus on activities that generate meaningful revenue.
  • Adaptability and ownership: Comfort working in an evolving market where products, customer needs, and sales processes are still developing, combined with the initiative to build structure and drive results independently.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work effectively with account executives, sales engineers, product managers, and senior leadership while maintaining ownership of individual targets and opportunities.
  • Communication and presentation: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for different audiences.
  • Direct experience selling AI security, cloud security, or other emerging cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience in a specialist, overlay, advisory, or technical sales role within cybersecurity or artificial intelligence.
  • A proven track record of selling to CISOs, security leaders, and other senior enterprise stakeholders.
  • Experience selling early-access products, managing design partner engagements, or helping bring new technology categories to market.
  • Competitive base salary: Annual base salary ranging from $157,250 to $185,000 USD, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
  • Additional compensation: Eligibility for annual bonuses or other incentive compensation, alongside equity opportunities.
  • Comprehensive benefits: Access to a benefits package designed to support employee well-being and overall needs; specific coverage and eligibility details are determined by the employer.
  • Remote work: Remote position based in the United States, offering flexibility in how you organize your work.
  • High-growth opportunity: Join a rapidly expanding cybersecurity business with an established enterprise customer base and growing demand for AI security solutions.
  • Established market opportunity: Step into a role with an existing pipeline and opportunities to develop new enterprise relationships while expanding current accounts.
  • Strategic influence: Work closely with sales and product leadership, contribute to go-to-market decisions, and help define how an emerging category is sold.
  • Innovative product portfolio: Represent a suite of AI security solutions addressing AI governance, cloud security, employee safeguards, AI agent security, and AI-powered security investigations.
  • Professional growth: Build expertise in a rapidly evolving cybersecurity market while developing a track record in enterprise sales and emerging technology commercialization.
  • Inclusive workplace: Equal employment opportunities for qualified candidates, with a commitment to diversity and an inclusive working environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
