The posting

abra professional services is seeking an experienced Software Development Team Lead to lead a development team in a large-scale cloud modernization project, leveraging modern technologies and AI-powered tools throughout the software development lifecycle.

This is a full-time position located in central Israel, offering a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a software development team, including task allocation, progress tracking, mentoring, and code reviews.
  • Implement AI-driven Software Development Lifecycle (AI SDLC) practices, tools, and processes, including measuring their effectiveness.
  • Drive technical initiatives and coordinate cross-functional activities with Development, Product, and Business teams.
  • Take ownership of production issues, including investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Ensure timely delivery and achievement of project milestones within an Agile environment.
  • Lead technical planning and implementation as part of a large-scale system modernization project.
  • Work closely with the Development Manager, serving as a key technical and leadership partner.
  • Drive initiatives independently, taking end-to-end ownership and ensuring successful execution.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of Full Stack development experience with .NET (C#) and React, with a strong backend orientation – mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing a software development team – mandatory.
  • Experience working in large organizations, including end-to-end processes, cross-team collaboration, and large-scale infrastructure – mandatory.
  • Hands-on, daily experience developing with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including experience implementing these tools within a development team – mandatory.
  • Experience in financial domains, including payments, cards, or banking – mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, including services, APIs, and system integrations – mandatory.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and CI/CD processes – mandatory.
  • Strong initiative, independence, and ability to drive processes within complex organizations – mandatory.
  • Proven ability to take end-to-end ownership, manage priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure – mandatory.
