Responsibilities

· Prepare mechanical equipment specifications, datasheets, calculations, and technical requisitions.

· Select and size mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, package equipment etc.

· Coordinate with process,piping, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams to resolve design interfaces.

· Review vendor quotations,conduct technical bid evaluations, and clarify technical requirements with suppliers.

· Review vendor drawings and documents for compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

· Support equipment lay out development, installation planning, and maintenance access reviews.

· Prepare and maintain engineering deliverables, equipment schedules, and project documentation.

· Support the procurement team with technical clarifications, equipment selection, and vendor coordination.

· Provide technical support to site teams during equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.

· Resolve engineering queries, site technical issues, and equipment-related discrepancies.

· Participate in vendor inspections, factory acceptance tests, and site inspections as required.

· Where applicable, support firefighting and ACMV system design and coordination.

Requirements · Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

· Relevant experience in mechanical equipment engineering for industrial plant EPC projects.

· Knowledge of rotating and static equipment, equipment selection, and vendor document review.

· Familiarity with relevant engineering codes, standards, and project specifications.

· Ability to interpret process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and mechanical drawings.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering calculation tools.

· Strong communication,coordination, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, procurement personnel, vendors,contractors, and site teams.

· Willingness to attend site visits and support construction and commissioning activities.
