The posting

We are looking for an Expert Electrical Engineer for a modern manufacturing company in Hooglede – someone who enjoys getting stuck in and wants to take their technical knowledge to the next level. You will be in charge of your own section within the machinery department and will become the go-to specialist that everyone turns to when things get a bit more technically challenging.

What’s on your to-do list?

  • You will be the main technical point of contact for your department.
  • Electrical or mechanical fault? You’ll pinpoint the problem and find a solution!
  • You’ll calibrate and optimise machinery to ensure production runs smoothly.
  • You’ll work with PLC systems, motors, sensors and variable speed drives.
  • You read electrical diagrams and delve into technical drawings.
  • You also tackle hydraulic and pneumatic problems.
  • You monitor maintenance and scheduled interventions and keep the technical documentation up to date.

You’re our ideal candidate if…

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in electromechanics, with a focus on electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • You combine technical insight with a genuine ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • You can analyse and resolve faults independently.
  • You work accurately and always put safety first.
  • You work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • You have a good command of Dutch and/or English.
