About the Role

We are looking for an AI Prompt Engineer to design, develop and optimise AI prompts that improve the accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of AI-powered applications.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of generative AI, prompt engineering techniques and the ability to train and refine AI systems to perform specific business tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and optimise prompts for AI models and applications.
  • Train and refine AI agents to perform specific tasks based on business requirements.
  • Test and evaluate AI-generated responses to ensure accuracy, relevance and consistency.
  • Develop structured prompts, instructions and knowledge bases to improve AI performance.
  • Identify limitations in AI responses and implement improvements through prompt optimisation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand business requirements and develop AI solutions.
  • Monitor AI performance and continuously improve prompts based on user feedback and testing results.
  • Research emerging AI technologies, prompting techniques and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to develop structured instructions and evaluate AI-generated outputs.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for AI technologies and continuous learning.
