Als mondhygiënist(e) speel je een belangrijke rol in de preventieve mondzorg. Je helpt patiënten om hun gebit en tandvlees gezond te houden en geeft hen advies over een goede mondhygiëne.

Je taken bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Het uitvoeren van professionele gebitsreinigingen.
  • Het verwijderen van tandplak en tandsteen binnen je bevoegdheid.
  • Het geven van advies over mondhygiëne en poets- en reinigingstechnieken.
  • Het informeren en motiveren van patiënten om hun mondgezondheid te verbeteren.
  • Het ondersteunen van de tandarts bij preventieve behandelingen.
  • Het bijhouden van patiëntengegevens en het opvolgen van behandelingen.

-Je beschikt over een erkend diploma mondzorgkunde of mondhygiëne.

-Je bent patiëntvriendelijk, nauwkeurig en verantwoordelijk.
